Disclaimer – TRUE Trading
TRUE Trading (“TRUE”, “we”, “our”, or “the Protocol”) is a decentralized software platform that enables non-custodial trading of perpetual futures and related derivative products on the Solana blockchain. Access to or interaction with TRUE constitutes acceptance of the following terms and disclosures. Please read them carefully.

1. No Broker-Dealer, Exchange, or Bank Relationship
• TRUE is not a registered broker-dealer, Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), Designated Contract Market (DCM), Swap Execution Facility (SEF), Alternative Trading System (ATS), or any other licensed securities- or derivatives-intermediary.
• TRUE is not a bank, credit union, nor FDIC-insured depository institution. Digital assets deposited to smart-contract addresses are not covered by FDIC, SIPC, or any governmental insurance scheme and may lose value in whole or in part.

2. Smart-Contract & Market Risk
• Use of the Protocol is entirely at your own risk. Smart contracts may contain bugs, code exploits, or un-anticipated vulnerabilities that could result in partial or total loss of funds.
• Perpetual futures trading is highly speculative and involves substantial risk of loss, up to and including the loss of 100 % of posted collateral. You should trade only with funds you can afford to lose.
• TRUE does not guarantee liquidity, order execution, oracle accuracy, funding-rate calculations, or the solvency of any counter-party vault.

3. Jurisdictional & Regulatory Restrictions
• The Protocol is intended solely for persons who are legally permitted to trade digital-asset derivatives under applicable laws. The interface may geo-block or otherwise restrict residents or citizens of the United States, Canada, U.K., EU, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and any jurisdiction where such activity is prohibited.
• By connecting a wallet you represent and warrant that you are not a “U.S. Person” (as defined under CFTC Rule 4.7) and that you are compliant with all local laws, including but not limited to KYC, AML, tax, and sanctions regulations.

4. Custody & Stablecoin Off-Ramps
• TRUE does not custody fiat or crypto on your behalf. All balances are held by you in self-custodied wallets or in on-chain smart-contract vaults you control.
• Any optional fiat off-ramp, stablecoin conversion, or debit-card service is provided by third-party regulated financial institutions (“Service Providers”). Those Service Providers are responsible for compliance, KYC, and custody of off-chain funds. TRUE does not hold, manage, or transmit fiat currency.
• Service Providers may prohibit the direct deposit of cryptocurrency to insured bank accounts. If stablecoins are auto-converted to USD or other fiat, such conversion is solely the Service Provider’s obligation and subject to its own terms and fees.

5. No Investment, Tax, or Legal Advice
• All information presented on, or generated by, the Protocol (including price data, research, PnL analytics, and risk metrics) is provided “as-is” for informational purposes only and should not be construed as investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
• TRUE, its contributors, and affiliated entities accept no responsibility for any interpretation of data or for trading decisions made by users.

6. Conflicts & Incentives
• Vault operators, sequencer nodes, oracle publishers, and liquidity providers on TRUE may earn trading fees, liquidation penalties, interest, or other rewards. Such incentives can create conflicts of interest.
• Copy-trading leaders may receive flat fees and/or performance-based profit-sharing from followers. These fees are disbursed automatically by smart contract and create an inherent conflict between leaders and followers.

7. Taxes & Reporting
• You are solely responsible for determining whether, and to what extent, any taxes apply to trades or other transactions conducted via TRUE, and for withholding, collecting, reporting, and remitting the correct amounts of taxes to the appropriate tax authorities.

8. Limitation of Liability
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRUE, its developers, contributors, service providers, and affiliates disclaim all liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Protocol.

9. Acceptance of Risk & Continuous Updates
• By using or accessing TRUE you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Disclaimer. This notice may be updated periodically; continued use of the Protocol constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
